Chemical Peels
What are Chemical Peels?
Chemical peels are a form of exfoliation that use active acids to change our skin health at a cellular level. Using scientifically formulated acids, these peels target a variety of skin concerns, including acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and uneven texture. Each peel is carefully selected to suit your skin type and concerns, with options ranging from light peels with minimal to no downtime and deeper peels with more downtime but more intensive results.

This beta-hydroxyl peel is formulated to target every aspect of acne-prone skin. The treatment works by deeply penetrating the pores to break down excess oil, eliminate acne-causing bacteria, and reduce inflammation, leading to a noticeably clearer, more balanced complexion. The procedure is quick and results-driven, with an emphasis on purifying the skin and controlling oil production. You can expect physical peeling and a strict pre/post-peel routine must be followed with a complimentary post-peel kit.

This alcohol-based peel has a much deeper level of penetration compared to a gel-based peel. With the combination of Lactic, Mandelic, and Salicylic acid, this peel will help brighten pigmentation from acne, melasma and photo-damaged skin. You can expect physical peeling and a strict pre/post-peel routine must be followed with a complimentary post-peel kit.

It combines Salicylic Acid, a lipid-soluble exfoliant that clears pores and reduces oil; Mandelic Acid which ensures even, superficial exfoliation; and Citric Acid which helps break down dead skin cells to brighten and smooth the skin. This powerful trio works to fade discolouration, improve acne, and enhance overall skin clarity and texture with minimal to no downtime.

The cosmo peel is designed to help treat dark spots and superficial pigmented lesions, smooth rough texture caused by keratosis pilaris, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and early signs of aging. Formulated with buffered TCA for controlled penetration, it safely exfoliates the skin while boosting collagen and elastin production. The various percentages allow it to be suitable for all skin types and tones.

For the Circadia Dermafrost and Mandeliclear peels we recommend a phased approach by starting off with one of the gentler peels to prepare your skin and allow for a better result.
For the Dermaceutic Comso and Cosmo-Forte Peels, due to their components and intensity, the skin must be properly prepped using specific Dermaceutic products. This preparation helps minimise potential side effects and ensures the peel delivers even, effective results.
During your initial consultation, if we determine that one of these peels is the right option for you, a tailored skincare preparation regimen will be emailed to you. Once you’ve completed the recommended prep, you’ll be ready to proceed with the treatment.
